Warner Bros. Video games-owned Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm has laid off its cellular video games growth group, in line with reviews on social media.

As noticed by TechRaptor and ResetEra, a QA analyst on the agency claimed on LinkedIn that the cellular division was shut down, leaving staff out of labor. The group had been at work on titles together with Mortal Kombat Cellular, Injustice 2 and Mortal Kombat Onslaught.

Different group members have corroborated the claims on social media, stating they’d been laid off by the corporate. Insider Gaming reviews that a minimum of 50 workers had been impacted by the transfer.
