Round 12,000 consoles holding over 47 million pirated video video games have been seized by police, Alessandro Langella, head of the financial crime unit for Turin’s monetary police, informed the AFP information company… They have been “all from China” and have been imported to be bought in specialised retailers or on-line, Mr Langella stated…
The seized video games have been destroyed. 9 Italian nationals have been arrested and charged with buying and selling in counterfeited items. If discovered responsible, they withstand eight years in jail.
